"Climate experts say we should tell villagers in developing countries to reduce the amount of cooking smoke they generate to help fix global warming. You know, it's as if these people don't hate us enough already. I mean, they live in mud huts, they have thatch roofs, their clothes are made of straw. We pull up in a bunch of Humvees and SUVs going, 'Hey, you want to cut the smoke out of here?
I have collected together what I think are the best examples of climate change related satire from across the internet, including cartoons, videos, articles, t-shirts, posters and anything else I could find, which in some way combine the words 'global warming' and 'satire' into their subject matter.
And what qualifies me to take on such a prodigious curatorial task? Well in the first place it is the same thing that leads me to think that 'curatorial' is actually a word - absolutely nothing at all. But if you really must push me into giving a reason then I suppose that I will be forced to use this space for a shameless plug the website I run: The Daily Satire. I wish you hadn't made me do that.
